Yr 5/6 trip to Cambridge

On Tuesday, Year 5/6 enjoyed a fantastic trip to Cambridge as part of their Geography learning. They were fascinated to discover the various organisms in the river whilst pond-dipping, sketched the many river and bridge landscapes around the city and took a boat trip along the River Cam. The sun shone for us and a brilliant day was had by all! Thank you to the parent helpers!

Yr6 Hilltop visit

What a weekend at Hilltop!

The Year 6s completed a range of activities over the three days from team-building, the Tree Top Trail and the Big Zipper! They were an absolute pleasure to be with and the staff at Hilltop commented on their wonderful manners and behaviour. We were so proud of all of them!

Year 6 Hilltop Visit

Year 6 have had a great start to their visit to Hilltop. They have been on zipwires, played evening games and enjoyed a hearty dinner.

This morning (Saturday), they are off to the beach for a rockpooling session in the glorious sunshine.

EYFS trip to Lodge Farm

Last Wednesday, EYFS went to Lodge Farm for the day. Our day started with a trip on a double decker bus which the children absolutely loved! At the Farm, we were able to explore all the orchard, learning about the different fruit trees that were growing and explore the mini beasts. Some of the activities were pond dipping, meadow sweeping and mini beasts hunt. We were all ready for our beds by the end of the day!
