Welcome to Somersham Primary School!

Somersham Primary School serves the villages of Somersham and Pidley in Cambridgeshire.  It is a member of Meridian Trust (formerly Cambridge Primary Education Trust), a family of like minded schools who share training, CPD and staff expertise to develop the best possible outcomes for children.

Following Somersham's academisation in April 2019, we are committed to returning the school to the heart of the village community.  We aim for Somersham to be a school that the village can be proud of, and where children come to learn, grow and develop, regardless of their age, gender, ethnicity, socio-economic background or attainment level.  We want to provide our children with the opportunities to become talented writers, mathematicians, sportspeople, artists, musicians, scientists and citizens of our local, national and global communities.  To get an insight about how we do this, please browse the website to find out more.
