Woodpeckers Science

Woodpeckers have been learning all about microhabitats. We explored our school environment to see how many kinds of micro-habitats there were. The children made careful, first-hand observations to see what each of these homes were like using key vocabulary to describe it. They also noted down the minibeasts that lived there. The children are beginning to explain how these mini beasts have adapted to live in their microhabitat. What super work Woodpeckers!
