• Sport Relief 2020

  As part of #SportRelief2020, our school raised money by seeing how many miles we could travel during the day. We marked out a running track on our field and each class were allotted a time slot and challenged to complete a mile on the track by either running or walking. The children were absolutely fantastic and showed great enthusiasm, raising money for such a worthy cause! Well done everyone!

  

• Chaffinch Library Visit

  On Friday 6th March, Chaffinch class went to the library in the village. They loved looking at the books, being able to take one home and listening to a story. It was a great way to end the week.

  

• Y6 Football

  On Thursday 5th March, some of our Y6 footballers represented the school brilliantly in a tournament. Although the other team won with a score of 1:0 in both games, they played fantastically throughout and deserved a better result! A valiant effort team Somersham!

  

• World Book Day!

  What a fantastic day we had on World Book Day yesterday, both the children and staff looked amazing in their outfits! In the afternoon, the classes were paired up for some shared reading. It was lovely to see the older year groups reading with the younger ones. #WorldBookDay
