• St Ives Rotary Club Year 6 quiz

  Some of our Year 6 children represented our school in the St Ives Rotary Club Year 6 quiz, which took place on Thursday 27th February in St Ives area schools. Although we were unlucky this time, the team did us proud! They had to answer 150 questions in 3 rounds on: Geography, Plants & Animals and General Knowledge. The last round was our best, as we scored a fantastic 43 out of 50! Well done team Somersham!

  Jon Morris came into school to talk to our pupils about road safety today.

  Jon gave a special talk to each year group that he visited.

  Here Jon is with the Robin class in Reception. He talked about how to cross the road safely and the importance of wearing seat belts and helmets!
