Learning and growing together

What don't our children do at Somersham?

A wide variety of clubs are available each term which the children may take part in, including; sports clubs, creative clubs and all sorts of activity clubs such as library leaders, sewing & craft, ICT, Tag Rugby, bell plates and football (to name but a few!)

We strive to meet the interests of the children and are really lucky that we have outside club providers, as well as our dedicated staff who are prepared to run some of these clubs.

Sports Clubs

Children can join football, cricket, tag rugby, athletics and cross country running and we are always interested in expanding our offering if we think it will be popular, and of benefit to the children.

Musical Opportunities

We have an active choir and children can join a variety of ensemble groups, from recorders to boomwhackers, band to ocarinas!

Our musicians perform regularly in assemblies and at local community events. Many of our musicians enter the Rotary 'Young Musician of the Year' competition, travelling to venues all over the East of England.

Please see our music pages for lots more information about the musical magic we make at Somersham Primary School.
